It has two chambers/stages, each with a group of rotating vanes or blades for the generation a vacuum by expanding and compressing the gas molecules and fluid in the stages. The liquid utilized in the pump to create a vacuum can be water and varied other compatible fluids, like oil. The fluid is constantly re-circulated by means of the pump, and it serves for cooling the pump, removing various gases, trapped in the pump and also preventing them from being released into the environment.
